EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT CENTER

The theme for our sesquicentennial celebration is an appropriate reminder of God faithfulness throughout all generations. Scripture reminds us of that when our faith failed, God remained faithful to all his promises. It is remarkable to think and reflect on this church’s  illustrious 150-year history and meditate upon the various obstacles, barriers, and necessitudes, which it faced. It’s intriguing to think that this church was birth during an era of one of the greatest atrocities known to humankind called slavery. Despite these inhuman conditions, our  ancestors embodied an unwavering faith in God and persevered to establish this current house of worship, affectionately known as the Mountain of Joy. (Rev. This Center will promote a community commitment to educational achievement by partnering with a Community Education Ambassador to work towards centralized all educational matters within the South bridge. This center is designed for Pre-K to 8 th grade. Highly qualified instruction material, along with one-on-one tutoring will provide our scholars with the needed support to succeed academically increased proficiencies and close the achievement gap. Various modules of social and emotional learning techniques will be incorporated with best practice curriculum such as art, dance, music, and drama to enhance learning proficiencies.
