TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION CENTER
The theme for our sesquicentennial celebration is an appropriate reminder of God faithfulness throughout all generations. Scripture reminds us of that when our faith failed, God remained faithful to all his promises. It is remarkable to think and reflect on this church’s illustrious 150-year history and meditate upon the various obstacles, barriers, and necessitudes, which it faced. It’s intriguing to think that this church was birth during an era of one of the greatest atrocities known to humankind called slavery. Despite these inhuman conditions, our ancestors embodied an unwavering faith in God and persevered to establish this current house of worship, affectionately known as the Mountain of Joy. (Rev. Technology and Innovation Center
This Center will provide opportunities for our youth to become self-sustainable. The center will promote training and youth entrepreneurship programs. Our Youth Media Ministry will receive training in technology disciplines i.e., robotics, coding, drones, audio and video productions, graphic design, and artificial intelligence classes. A separate LLC for profit enterprise will be developed from this center to generate economic opportunities for youth in our community.
